about

A collection of songs born in the infancy of maturity during 2017, and realised in 2018.

I wrote and worked on these songs with friends who supported and enabled me. Thank-you to Dominic Bratzel, Trent Thomas, Spiro Noutsatos and Ben Simms for encouraging me and helping me flesh out the initial skeletons.

These songs are a reflection on the every-day discomfort and disgust I *used* to feel about crumbling relationships, mental illness and the crushingly depressive reality of becoming an adult (bar one, "Soft Creature", a celebration of a dead cat's life and loving companionship).

Looking back now, this record is a tearfully joyous grin resting on the face of everyone who has waded through pure turmoil and the brambles of self-destruction, only to come hurtling out the other side smiling... thus 'Gilt Havoc'.
